Terms of Service
Last updated: October 20, 2026
These terms apply when you use Competitor Radar (“we”, “us”), including the website, the free website change scanner and the weekly email briefings. By signing up or using the service, you agree to them.
1. The service
Competitor Radar reads the public sitemaps and public pages of the websites you choose, compares them over time, and emails you a summary of what changed. Summaries may be written with the help of an AI model. They are an aid, not professional advice: pages can be missed, misread or blocked, and we don’t guarantee that every change is caught or correctly explained.
The service is intended for business and professional use.
2. Plans
- Free: up to 5 competitors and one weekly briefing.
- Pro: US$19 / month, up to 25 competitors, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.
We may change plans or prices. Price changes for an existing subscription take effect from the next billing period, and we’ll email you at least 14 days before.
3. Payment
Payments are processed by our payment partner, Creem, which acts as the merchant of record and may show its name on your statement. Pro renews automatically each billing period until you cancel. Taxes are calculated at checkout where they apply.
4. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from the “Manage billing” link on your manage page (linked in every email). If you cancel during the free trial, you won’t be charged. If you cancel after a payment, Pro stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service to monitor websites in a way that breaks the law or another party’s rights;
- try to get around rate limits, scan limits or blocks, or make the service send heavy traffic to any website;
- resell the service or its emails without our written permission;
- interfere with the service or try to access data that isn’t yours.
Our crawler respects robots.txt and website blocks; see About our crawler. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
6. Your data
You keep ownership of the information you give us. How we handle it is explained in our Privacy Policy.
7. Availability and liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep it running, but we don’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on a briefing, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Ending the service
You can stop using the service at any time. If we ever shut it down, we’ll give at least 30 days’ notice by email and refund any unused, prepaid portion of a subscription.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we’ll email subscribers before it takes effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China). Disputes will be handled by the Taiwan Taipei District Court as the court of first instance, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
